This project was done while sub-contracting for E.Webscapes Design Studio.

The writer of this blog, Lisa, is also owner of an interior design studio. She wanted a blog to post her thoughts on interior design and generate business. She is a fan of bold colors which where incorporated into her blog, but the design needed to be clean enough to feature all of her photos.

The idea for the dot cut-out style came from some of Lisa’s own artwork. I try to find inspiration from the client’s stories and style whenever I can.

The Enfranchised Mind blog has been on the web since 2006 and needed a face lift to feature classic posts and open source projects.

The Enfranchised Mind blog has been on the web since 2006 and boasts hundreds of posts, and thousands of comments. Blog owner, Robert wanted a face lift since the blog had been using the same free theme for years. In addition, he wanted to be able to feature old and popular posts and his open source projects. I designed the new blog theme to accommodate those needs and coded it up as a Thematic child theme which is a framework I really like for certain projects.

Designing this blog gave me the chance to use a little bit of CSS3 which was fun too. We decided it was best to keep the same ancient header image that the readers are familiar with, but everything else was freshened up.

This project called for a psychedelic blog which features lots of posts and inspires fun conversation.

This project was done while sub-contracting for E.Webscapes Design Studio.

This blog was designed for a woman who wanted a forum to write for and communicate with her generation. She said she wanted a blog that was psychedelic and featured lots of posts on the home page. I worked directly with the client through E.Webscapes project management to design, code and launch all phases of the project.
